World Champion 1954

West Germany won the World Championship 04.07.1954 in Bern with a 3:2 against Hungary. After Hungary was leading 0:2, Max Morlock and Helmut Rahn scored 3 Times for West Germany. 60'000 Spectators watched the Game in the Old Wankdorf Stadion. It was a Sensation at that time as Hungary was by far the favorized Team.
